Rated 5 out of 5 by leo1 Major upgrades! cast iron drive ring gear, 1/2 hp, and easier assembly make it a no brainer over the competition... worth the little extra $ . June 13, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Downtown42 RECENT IMPROVEMENTS FROM PREVIOUS MACHINES Nice to see major improvements such as bigger bolts, nylon stop nuts and some design features from the old ones I have purchased few years back. This mixer works well for the money. I max the weight at about 180lbs total, which helps with longevity. I also let the motor cool down for about 5 min between loads. Box to complete setup takes about 3hrs. One recommendation would be to mark the bolts with the number designated to the instructions. I take all the bolts out of the box and measure them, sort them in envelopes with the part number matching the instructions. This helps a bunch and saves time with setup as many bolts will work but not the correct ones they want you to install for that particular step. February 14, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buddy4338 Great product. Have to learn to use it. I needed a mixer to make some angled slabs. I used this mixer to make really thick cement. The mixer would handle 3 50 pound bags of quikrete very easily. I bumped it up to 4 bags and the motor handled the additional capacity very easily but the cement started sticking to the bottom of the drum. This mixer has several settings to hold the angle of the drum ranging from vertical to horizontal. In order for cement to thoroughly mix (especially when you are using minimum water), the drum setting should be just above horizontal. This is not possible if you use 4 50 pound bags but works fine with 3. I had no issues with belt slipping and the motor never ran hot. The actual mixer comes with pneumatic tires vice the thin solid tires shown in the picture on the website. I am very pleased with this purchase. December 22, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by bsg208a good product, but this is a good cement mixer. but there are some problems 1- the instruction manual is hard to follow 2- the screws and bolts provided to assemble are the lowest quality i have ever seen 3- the set screw on the driven pulley cannot be tightened, it works loose ever few minutes if they would supply better fasteners they would have a winner.
