I own my own company we restore buildings and equipment, bought this for some of our small projects, went together well but : on start we put brand new clean fuel and oil, had carburetor issues from the get go, the way the foreign made engine is set up, theres no way to adjust the throttle with out some major modifications, idle is set to low from factory, and it will just idle, engine was sputtery, and would only operate properly on half choke, we could have took the carb apart and cleaned the main jet which is probably what was wrong with it but we didnt, it could have sucked something up from when it was manufactured, but after the seeing the semi decent quality of how it was built and how it would be useless unless your pooring footers or filling holes, possibly good for a sidewalk, we decided to return to the store, save your money, unless your a very short individual it may be useful, instead of buying this Id recomend a good electric mixer instead

Best to make a stand for it to dump into wheel barrow (see pictures) I made the first stand with pilaster block, but needed the blocks, had to make second stand. If you want to dump into wheel barrow one has to have a stand. Will mix two eighty pound bags of quickcrete. Rated 5 out of 5 by Rick99991 from Great little mixer Bought this mixer in June. Mixed about 8 yards of concrete gravel and cement through it. No problems so far. Been making flag stone in molds and retaining wall brick in molds too. Perfect size for this. The most it will hold is 22 shovels full of gravel and you have to lean it back so the mix doesn't spill out. Shipping was fast also. Rated 5 out of 5 by Uni890 from Great product! Gas Powered Commercial Duty Cement & Concrete Mixer CMG5 is a wonderful machine. I thought I could do a job around the house without it, but soon found it would be next to impossible or take me forever to complete. I love the mixer. It is easy to start, mixes well, and is easy to clean. I definitely recommend it to anyone needing to do concrete projects. And, in the long run, using it is less costly than hiring a cement truck. For an inexperienced individual I can see this as a major problem, however customer service is at the number listed and they can help. Some problems exist; the supplied booklet says on page seven that there is a control handle for angling the unit. There is a lock for this on the bottom rail but it does nothing. Customer Service says this has been discontinued but the booklet has not been changed. Also the unit is sold as a 5 cu ft mixer when in fact it is a 2.5 cu ft mixer with a 5 cu ft drum. Naturally you can't completely fill it so it is only 2.5 cu ft. which your booklet says right on the front. Home Depot should change there ad. Finally, this unit is grossly overpriced. 300 dollars would surely be in line and I'm sure everyone involved would make money. Wish I hadn't got it but for what it is it starts nice and performs well.
